We offer especial scholarships to meritorious and poor students. We also offer regular scholarship to students from each class for outstanding performance in semester final examination. Besides, depending on economical and academic performances, Skills and Training Enhancement Project (STEP) under Directorate of Technical Education of Bangladesh offers another scholarship to majority Diploma in engineering students of the institute. Under this project selected students get BDT 800.00 per month. All female Diploma Engineering students get 800.00 per month.
To face the challenges of 21st century the Government of Bangladesh has undertaken a series of reform programs in Technical & Vocational Education & Training (TVET) sector. As part of the reform, the Ministry of education has been implementing a six year long “Skills and Training Enhancement Project (STEP)”. 172 diploma level polytechnic institutes selected on competitive basis as ‘eligible’ for stipend and performance contract signed. HABHIT is one the selected Institutes which is under STEP project from the year 2011. Near about 80% Male Students & 100% Female student are eligible to get this Scholarship.
Complete, hygienic and fully furnished hostel is provided by the management for both boys and girls separately. The rooms are safe, secure, clean and airy. The Students enjoy delicious, quality and homely food. Menu is prepared to satisfy the taste of all students. Their stay in the hostel enables them to imbibe a different life style and involve in activities such as sports, music etc., suiting to their individual taste and preferences.
HABHIT has a separate rich library with necessary books, journals, articles, periodicals, papers, etc. All books, bags etc. of the students must be kept in the specified cubicles provided by the institute. Students are responsible for the care of these articles. Students must carry their identity cards and membership cards for Library use. Every student is expected to maintain calm and quiet during library use so that other students feel free to smoothly study.

Placement Cell of is established on 2011 and it is started with the aim of imparting quality technical education to all. Technical education is a very important contributing element to both social mobility and economic development. Technological progress in the last few decades in communication, transportation and information has helped to eliminate national barriers and create a global market place. Education, especially technical education is the most important in providing skilled and well trained human resource to the global world. The need for skills has increased dramatically in recent years owing to radical changes in technology all over the world. With a view to supplying skilled and well educated human resources Placement Cell was founded in 2011 at HABHIT .The Placement Cell searches Job market, arrange seminars and manage Job for the successfully Diploma in Engineering & BBA ,CSE course completed students . The Cell also ensure skills and make students fit for their future career. Many students are well established in the different sectors by completing their academic courses from this Cell of HABHIT.
